Create an account on Wise at https://wise.com/u/kajv9 (use this link to register and get a fee-free transfer up to 500 EUR) and input your email address, select personal account, your country of residence, phone number for 2FA setup and password.

Please note - Basetao changes their transfer information occasionally due to restrictions on Chinese Citizens from Wise. Please contact [email protected] before making a transaction for the latest Wise transfer information. Alternatively, join our Discord Community, where we also have the Wise Info available.

They will send you a message back with information that appears like below:

Go to https://wise.com/send/ where you will be able to input the amount you want to transfer. You will see this transfer box:

On the right of the 'You send' box, you will click the drop down menu and select your local currency. Wise should automatically select the local currency from the country of residence that you chose earlier:

Under the 'You send' box, you will input the amount of your chosen local currency you would like to send. Use the 'Low cost transfer' fee that Wise automatically selects. On the right of the 'Recipient gets' box, you will click the drop down menu and input 'CNY' as shown below:

Under the 'Recipient gets' box, Wise will calculate the amount that will be transferred into Chinese Yuan (CNY). The amount shown in the 'Recipient gets' box is the amount that will be recharged into your Basetao account.

Click on 'Continue' and select 'Personal'. You will now be shown this:

Input all of the appropriate information and click on 'Continue'.

Next is to select who will receiving your transfer, Select 'Someone else' and the box below will pop up.

This stage is critical as if the information is entered incorrectly, your transfer will not be recieved by Basetao and may be unretrievable afterwards.

Under the 'Bank details' section and the 'Full name of the account holder' box, insert the First name and Last name that Basetao provided to you in the email they sent. Under the 'Card Number' section, insert the 'Bank card number' from the email. Then select 'Continue'. You will then see this overview (below) where you can review your transfer. When you have checked the details you can select 'Confirm and Continue'.
